Cwrt Farm stands on a South facing slope on the West side of Pembrey. It is significant as the oldest domestic building in the area, dating back to at least the 14th Century. It was once the centre of a large estate. To its back are wooded hills. From its front windows, it overlooks a vast expanse of marshland and sea. Almost directly in front, further down the hill, the tower of St Illtyd's church, with its memorials to the families of Cwrt, features prominently. |
